The app asks for Screen Recording access.

macOS requires your permission before any app can see the screen. Allow AixShot in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording, then restart the app. The screen is only read when you take a screenshot or start a recording, and nothing leaves your device.

The microphone does not record.

Allow AixShot under Privacy & Security → Microphone, and switch the microphone on in the recorder bar before you start.

A keyboard shortcut does not work.

Another app may already use the combination. Open Settings → Hotkeys and pick a different one.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Your free trial can be cancelled the same way, at least 24 hours before it ends.

I subscribed on another Mac or reinstalled the app.

Open Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases.
